Leyland Festival is an annual charity event and a celebration of the many local people, volunteers, local businesses and community groups who pull together to make sure the Festival continues to go from strength to strength each year.

An information event is being held at Penwortham Community Centre on Tuesday, 17 June from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to allow members of the public to find out more about the planned improvements to roads and public spaces in South Ribble. Planners and engineers from Lancashire County Council will be on hand to talk through work to reduce congestion on the A582 scheduled to take place from mid-July 2014 to March 2015.
